Some of you may have received an email from "Hanson Webmail Service" seemingly from an official hanson.net email address. The email asks for your account name an password. DO NOT reply to this email as it is only phishing for information and access to your account. As we have reminded members before, we DO NOT ask for passwords unless you have contacted customer service with a problem and even then it is very rare. If you have already responded to the email by mistake, change your password immediately!

One the most anticipated moments of SXSW this year was the debut of Tinted Windows. It’s the surprising collaboration between former Smashing Pumpkins guitarist James Iha, Cheap Trick drummer Bun E. Carlos and Fountains of Wayne bassist Adam Schlesinger, fronted by pop idol Taylor Hanson. Prior to announcing Tinted Windows and his role in the band, AtlasPlugged caught up with Hanson on tour and spoke to them about their sucess as post-major label artists.

The fan club members only event in Tulsa is quickly approaching. We want to remind you that you need to be a fan club member in good standing in order to attend. If your membership has expired recently or will expire before the event, please renew your membership no later than May 10, 2009. Any person currently on the list of attendees whose membership falls into one of these categories will also be emailed a reminder via their Hanson.net email.

In addition, if your plans have changed and you can no longer attend the event, please email hansonevent@hanson.net as soon as possible so we can remove your name from our lists and make room for those currently on the waiting list.

For each year's membership kit we try to create something special for those of you who have been most passionate about our music, whether we write and record songs specifically for the purpose of the member kit, create in-depth videos about the making of an album, or in this case give you access to exclusive music created during a special songwriting event that we do each year called ‘Fools Banquet’. We are excited to let you inside and give you 5 special songs that have never been released, as well as tell you the stories of how they were created. Songs like Go, Running Man and Watch Over Me have come out of Fools Banquet over the years, and many more will come in the future.
