Chocolates are sold out. I wonder how fast they sold out once the golden tickets were announced!

I think it was a good idea. However, it would have been an even better idea if they had thought of it before they started selling tickets to Bamboozle. This doesn't apply to fans who've already gotten their tickets.

I also think that it's rather pointless for some, like me. I don't eat chocolate so I would find spending 25 bucks on chocolate for a slim chance to win a ticket to only one show to be rather ridiculous. It might not be to those who either have the extra money, like chocolate or just don't care about personal finances but to me it's just stupid. I'm not going to buy a bunch of chocolate I won't eat for a chance to win a ticket to a show I can't afford to get to. A free show is nice but when it's 1500 miles away in a VERY expensive city, it's just not worth it. That's just my opinion though.

the whole point of them doing this was so that they could sell out the chocolate...last year they sold really fast but this year they didnt....everyone is pissed about the 10$ shipping, including me since I live right outside of tulsa!!! way to go guys! good idea and way to get your product to sell!

I didn't know shipping was that expensive.  I mean, you could practically drive there to pick up those chocolates yourself!

But yeah, I wouldn't mind those chocolates if they were a gift.  Sadly, there is no way that the guy who likes me would get the imagination of coming to Hanson.net to see what is in store for V-day.

So, is there going to be a creepy guy wispering in the ears of the winners "bring me back all of Hanson's lyrics to the new songs"?

That was a good way to get the chocolates sold quickly.

Maybe it's the cultural difference, and maybe it's the language barrier but I don't get the joke.  Oh well...

I understand the point. I simply don't think it's a good way to sell off your product. Not everyone wants chocolate but obviously we all want a ticket to one of the shows. A show seems to be a more productive use of our money. If your product doesn't sell then either discount it or pull it, that's just what normal merchandisers do.
