I agree.  I don't think anyone's accusing you of not wanting them to be successful. There are people out there who want every concert to be the same as a Fan Club Member Event,  and would rather that the band not be popular (successful, huge, whatever you want to call it)  just so that the gigs are more intimate and they'd have a better chance of having the band know who they are.  There are people who wish that Hanson was "undiscovered talent" -that's the mind set that I don't get. As I said earlier, I don't think anyone is accusing you or ry22 of feeling that way. 

I get the feeling you both are simply appreciating the experiences we get to share with the band and the novelty of a semi-normal life.  No one can complain about that.

Balance is massively important, and seriously under-rated. You're completely right. You'll get no argument out of me.

I seriously think you should turn that last line in to a tag line.
In short: buy music, balance is good, and who cares about the opinions of people who don't recognize good music?
It's one of the truest sentiments ever.

This will be an awsome year for Hanson and if they make it to number 1 that will just be a plus :)

Its not really a matter of time they have, but control, you know? You saw how those crazy, heart crushed girls back in '97 were. Do you think Hanson would still do walks and other stuff with that at risk? If you take this as unkind, please think about it. I didnt really mean to start a whole thing......I guess I could have re worded my opinion.

And for sure I want Hanson to have success! But listen, who ever said they don't? They have the kind of publicity that other bands would KILL for. They have plenty of money, I don't know how that got started??? And the real reason they don't have and probably won't get another #1 album is because of all those m&%$@# *^#!$@& at radio who only play who pay to have thier music on.

I am still curious as to how this all started with Hanson's success? Its not like they're in trouble financially.

Guys I think we need to stop the arguing and band ( lol ) together as Hanson Fans and do what we can as a group and do what we can as individuals also. 

The arguing with each other back and forth isn't gonna help Hanson. The people that want to promote them can and the people that don't want to don't have to.  But if we don't do this together as Hanson fans then it's not gonna work at all. It's just gonna blow up in our face.

Do what is best for Hanson.

I think most of us want Hanson to be in the Top 100 most view videos on MTV. That's how the videos get played on the morning videos AMTV.

Wasn't the whole point of the walks this year to prove that a few people can make a big difference?  Why can't we do the same for Hanson?  Just a thought, but AvrilHanson21 seems to have a lot of good ideas.  And why do we all only have to buy 1 CD when it comes out.  I know a lot of us buy more around Christmas for gifts and what not, so why not start saving now and buy them all at once when the album is released.  That's what I'm planning on...and then some.  It would be awesome to see just how high on the charts we CAN get them.  Even if it doesn't end up being #1, it will still be fun to try.  Am I right?  Let's do it!

Thanks. We have all been promoting Hanson since 97. We just have be more creative on how we promote now. That's why I post information on where to request and where to vote. Because There is power in numbers. I mean we know a station isn't just gonna play Hanson unless it's an all 90's request or a throwback track. So We gotta do our part as fans as a group. The only way to do that is to have the information.
